About Exports

The Exports dashboard makes it easy to get Fospha data into the tools and workflows your team already uses.

With Exports, you can:

  • Streamline internal reporting workflows

  • Send Fospha data directly to Google Sheets, email, SFTP, or S3 Bucket

  • Schedule recurring reports or download data on demand

  • Generate and send Spark reports

Whether you're building your own reporting views, syncing Fospha data with BI tools, or just want a regular performance export in your inbox, the Exports dashboard gives you full control and flexibility.

Setting up Exports

To create a new export, click the "+ New Export" button in the top-right corner of the Exports dashboard.
From there, you'll walk through the key setup sections:

Export Preview
This section shows a live preview of what your export will look like based on your filters and formatting choices.

Use the "Customize Table" button to choose which columns to include, change their order, and decide how data is grouped or displayed.

You can also download the export immediately from this view using the "Download" button—handy if you just want a one-off export.

Filters
At the top of the page, filters let you tailor the export to include only the data you need. Apply filters by date, currency, market, source, or other relevant dimensions.

You can also set your preferred level of granularity (e.g. daily vs. weekly). The Export Preview will automatically update based on your selections (you may see a brief loading state as the data refreshes).

Export Destination
Choose where you want your export to be delivered.

Available options include:

  • Email

  • Google Sheets

  • SFTP

  • AWS S3

Each destination has its own setup steps—see the relevant section in this guide for detailed instructions

Data Formatting

Choose how your numeric data appears in the export:

  • Rounded – Values will be rounded to two decimal places (recommended for easier readability in reports).

  • Raw – Values will be exported in full precision, with no rounding applied (ideal if you need exact figures for further analysis or custom calculations).

Pick the option that best suits your reporting needs—this setting applies to all numeric fields in your export.

Export Frequency

Decide how often you want your export to run.

You have two options:

  • Scheduled Export – Set a custom delivery schedule on a weekly or monthly basis. Choose the exact day, time, and time zone that works best for you.

  • After Daily Update – Automatically send the export once your daily data processing is complete. This is ideal if you want to receive a daily summary without setting a fixed time.

Important: To ensure your export includes the most recent data (e.g. yesterday’s), we recommend scheduling it after your daily model run completes—typically later in the morning. If the export runs too early, some data may still be processing. If you're unsure about timing, reach out to your Customer Success Manager for advice.

Send Test Export

Before finalising your schedule, use the "Send Test" button to preview what the export will look like.

This is especially helpful to:

  • Check the structure and content of the export before saving

  • Ensure filters, formatting, and destinations are set up correctly

Please note: Test exports may take a few minutes to arrive in your selected destination. Avoid 9:00 AM Scheduling: If you schedule an export at 9:00 AM, you may see a warning message. This is because this time overlaps with peak system activity and may affect dashboard performance. Consider selecting a different time for smoother processing.

Export Destinations

Once you've selected your filters, configured your Export Preview, and chosen your export frequency, follow the steps below to set up your desired export destination (Email, Google Sheets, SFTP, or S3).

Email

To send your export via email:

  1. Go to Export Destination and select Email.

  2. Enter one or more recipient email addresses. Press Enter after each entry to add multiple recipients.

  3. Choose whether you want the export to be delivered as a download link or a file attachment.

  4. (Optional) Add a custom message—this will appear in the body of the email.

Note:

  • File attachments are limited to 10MB. If your export exceeds this size, we recommend using the link option.

  • Exports are sent from no-reply@fospha.com. If you or your recipients don't see the email, please check your spam, junk, or "Other" inbox folders.

  • To ensure consistent delivery, consider whitelisting the sender email address or flagging it as a safe sender in your email settings.

Google Sheets

To set up an export to Google Sheets:

  1. Go to Export Destination and select Google Sheets.

  2. Open the Google Sheet where you want the export to land.

  3. Click Share and add the following email address as an editor:

  4. Make sure to grant Editor access, then click Send.

  5. Copy the Spreadsheet ID from your browser's URL (this is the long string of letters and numbers between /d/ and /edit)

  6. Paste this ID into the Spreadsheet ID field in the Fospha Exports setup.

Your export will always land on Sheet 1. To avoid overwriting data, we recommend using Sheet 1 as a Raw Data tab and building any calculations or reports from Sheet 2 onwards.

Row & Cell Limits:

Google Sheets has strict limits—333,333 rows, 10 million total cells, or approximately 30 columns.

Make sure you're exporting only relevant data. To manage larger datasets, consider:

  • Adjusting the granularity or date range

  • Hiding or excluding unnecessary columns

  • Splitting exports by source, region, etc.

If you're unsure how best to structure your exports, your CSM can help you tailor the setup.

SFTP

To set up an export to SFTP:

  1. Go to ‘Export Destination’ section and select SFTP

  2. Enter address for the export destination

  3. Enter the username and password

S3 Bucket

To set up an export to S3 Bucket:

  1. Go to the Export Destination section and select S3 Bucket.

  2. Enter the following details:

    • Bucket Name

    • Access Key

    • Secret Key

    • Region

    • Optional Path (if you want to specify a folder within the bucket)

If you're using a client-hosted bucket, you’ll need to provide these details so we can successfully deliver the export.

Let us know if you need help locating any of this information — we’re happy to assist.

Export Destination Use Cases

Export Destination

Why You Might Need It

Email

Quick and simple way to receive regular reports without needing to log into the platform. Ideal for sharing insights with stakeholders who don’t have direct platform access.

Google Sheets

Great for real-time collaboration and analysis. Allows teams to build internal dashboards or layer on additional context without manual downloads.

SFTP

Best for secure, automated transfers of large datasets into internal systems. Commonly used when integrating with internal BI tools or data warehouses.

S3 Bucket

Ideal for engineering or data teams managing cloud infrastructure. Enables seamless ingestion of data into pipelines or storage solutions for deeper analysis and modeling.

My Schedules

My Schedules tab is your central hub for managing all your data exports.

Whether you're setting up regular performance snapshots or syncing data into reporting tools, this view makes it easy to stay on top of your export activity—all in one place.

Here, you can view, search, and manage every export schedule you’ve created—giving you full control over when and where your Fospha data is delivered.

Each row shows:

  • The schedule name you’ve assigned

  • The destination (like an email address or a Google Sheet ID)

  • The export frequency (e.g. weekly or monthly)

  • The last run timestamp and the next scheduled run

You can:

  • Edit or delete existing exports

  • Create new ones with the [+ New Export] button

  • Search for a specific export using the search bar

  • Toggle test exports on or off using the “Show Test Schedules” button (helpful if you’ve run one-off test exports you don’t need to monitor regularly)

Failed Exports

Failed Exports The Failed Exports tab helps you quickly identify and troubleshoot any issues with your scheduled exports—so you can keep your reporting running smoothly.

When an export fails, this page shows:

  • The name of the export schedule

  • The time of failure

  • A detailed error message explaining what went wrong (e.g. incorrect credentials, permission errors, or unreachable destinations)

  • The last successful run of that export (if applicable)

You can use the search bar to filter specific failed exports and easily scroll through multiple entries if needed.

By surfacing clear error messages and timestamps, this view helps you understand the root cause of failures and take action—whether that means updating credentials, checking file permissions, or contacting your Customer Success Manager for support.

Spark Reports

Spark Reports go beyond raw data exports—they give you the why behind the numbers. While standard exports deliver structured data tables for custom analysis, Spark Reports automatically interpret your performance data and deliver a concise summary of what’s happening, what’s changed, and where to focus next.

With just a few clicks, you can:

  • Select a date range (up to the past 365 days)

  • Generate an AI-powered summary

  • Receive it in your inbox within minutes

Each Spark Report includes:

  • A TL;DR section summarizing your key performance shifts

  • Detailed breakdowns across media types, campaign performance, and top channels

  • Insights into performance trends and spend efficiency

  • Summary of performance against your targets (e.g. ROAS, CAC, CPP)

This makes Spark Reports ideal for:

  • Quickly aligning your team on performance highlights

  • Sharing high-level updates with stakeholders

  • Spotting emerging trends without digging through dashboards

Whether you’re reporting weekly performance or preparing for a strategy review, Spark gives you a ready-to-send snapshot—so you can spend less time analysing and more time acting.

Recent Update: Unified Metrics Now Available in Exports

You can now export unified performance metrics, including:

  • Unified ROAS

  • Unified CPP

  • Unified Conversions

  • Unified Revenue

How to Compare Unified vs. DTC-Only Performance

Want to see how your marketing drives Amazon sales?
Follow these steps to compare unified performance with DTC-only metrics:

  1. Go to the Exports page in your Fospha dashboard.

  2. Set your desired date range (e.g. Prime Day week).

  3. Schedule two separate exports:

    • One with Amazon data included – this will show unified ROAS, conversions, and revenue

    • One without Amazon data – this will show DTC-only performance

  4. Download both exports once ready.

  5. Compare side by side:

    • Look at the unified export to understand total marketing impact across DTC + Amazon.

    • Use the DTC-only export to evaluate acquisition efficiency and bottom-funnel performance.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Unified metrics will display zero if no Amazon data is available for the selected date range.

  • CAC and new customer metrics are only available in DTC-only exports (without Amazon data).

  • A combined export (with both unified + DTC-only metrics in one file) is coming soon.
