Fospha's Multi Market feature allows for brands to split performance measurements by Market.

How Does Fospha Assign Market Type?

Step 1

The first step is communicating with you to understand your Market requirements.

To enable us to measure performance by Market:

  • You tell us which markets you operate in (e.g. UK, US)

  • For any data that occurs outside of these markets, you tell us a fallback market (e.g. ROW, Other, UK)

  • Each market that we model is required to have at least 50+ sales per day to ensure statistical significance

Step 2

Once you have provided us with the right data, we get started on the identification process. For each data source we ingest, we then do the following:

For Ad Platform Data:

  • For Facebook, we identify the market via the Campaign name, Brand Account name, or Ad Set name

  • For all other cost feeds, we identify the market via Campaign name or Brand Account name

For eCommerce data:

  • We identify the market the customer purchased in

For visit data (e.g. GA4):

  • We identify the market the customer visited the platform in

We combine this data together, run the model for each market, and finally provide results in your dashboards.

How Does It Work?

Our Multi-Market transformer assigns a Market in the following order:

  1. Using the Market Identifiers provided by the clients, we first look for information in the Campaign name, Brand Account name, or Ad Set name (depending on where the identifier lives)

  2. If not found, we then look to use the information in the ecommerce purchase

  3. If not found, we then look to use the information in the Google Analytics visit

  4. If not found, we use the fall back market

Who is This Feature Available For?

This feature is currently available for brands operating in Multiple Markets with the eCommerce platforms Shopify, Magento & WooCommerce.

However, we are also able to activate the feature for any brand who can send us their market information (e.g. via a flat file), even if they use a different or custom eCommerce platform.

For brands who do not have a market split, the Market filter will still be visible, but set to ‘All’.

What Do I Need to Do to Enable Multi-Market to Work?

We require the following steps:

  • Answer the onboarding questions to provide Fospha with your market mapping rules

  • Ensure your marketing campaign naming convention includes market information

  • Ensure you have enough conversions a day for each market

If you have any further questions, or would like to set this up after you have onboarded to Fospha, then please send us a message via the chat window!
